I have been inspired to start a blog after recently viewing my cousins blog called, "Court Vision." His blog has cool things about different basketball players and things in basketball in general. I have decided to make mine about baseball, the sport I love the most. I am a huge St. Louis Cardinals fan so you might see more on them than other teams. The first tribute I have made is naming my blog, "That's a Winner." This was the famous call of the late Jack Buck, by far my favorite announcer of all time. I love to still listen to a baseball game on the radio because of Mr. Buck. Here is a great video of a few Jack Buck highlights.
Buck and Cardinal baseball will always be something very special to me. My favorite radio expression uttered by Jack Buck: "He could throw a strawberry through a battleship". You always had a friend on the radio with Jack Buck. Jake, good luck with the blog! Now that's a winner!
